EMERGENCY SOLUTIONS GRANT PROGRAM
The Community Services Division of Macomb Community Action receives Emergency Solution Grant (ESG) funds through the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development to support homelessness prevention, emergency shelter, and related services. Eligible activities, generally including essential services related to emergency shelter, rehabilitation and conversion of buildings to be used as emergency shelters, operation of emergency shelters, and homelessness prevention services.
As required by program regulations, allocation of the County’s ESG funds are determined through consultation with the local Continuum of Care.
Residents are also invited to get involved in the process by participating in public hearings. Be sure to watch this website for dates and times when these public meetings are scheduled.
