Human Resources and Labor Relations
I began my career with Macomb County in October of 2004 as a Typist Clerk I/II with Community Mental Health. I worked at the Access Center providing clerical support to the Access team. In 2006 I was promoted to an Account Clerk III working at First Resources and Treatment Southwest. I provided clerical support at First Resources and Treatment Southwest performing various clerical tasks. In 2010 I was promoted to Secretary and moved to the Community Mental Health Administration Building. I served as the Personnel Human Resources liaison, processing all staff related activities. In July of 2017 I was promoted to Team Coordinator in the Human Resources and Labor Relations Department. I coordinate labor and employee relations meetings, maintain confidential files for sensitive matters such as discipline or employee assistance program referrals and process unemployment claims. My desire to serve the people of Macomb County led me to pursue a career with Macomb County.
