Macomb is Open Campaign
Winners of the Macomb is Open contest were announced via Facebook live on Monday, June 1. The initiative, which ran from May 20 through May 31, asked the public to submit photos from local restaurants, coffee shops, breweries and diners for a chance to win a $50 gift card, and a $1,000 grant for the named business. A total of 349 submissions were received. From those entries, grants were awarded to:

- Baffin Brewing Company - St. Clair Shores
- Boston Gourmet Pizza - Shelby Township
- Buffalo Pizza and Wings - Macomb Township
- Crews Inn - Harrison Township
- Dodge Park Coney Island - Sterling Heights
- Ed’s Pizza - Fraser
- Filipo Marc Winery - Clinton Township
- Little Mustard Seed Cafe - New Baltimore
- Main Treats Coffee House - Romeo
- Mount Clemens Grill - Mount Clemens
- Oliver’s Pizza and Subs - Macomb Township
- Pop’s Sweets and Treats - Mount Clemens
- Sweetwaters Coffee and Tea - Shelby Township
- The Bakehouse - Shelby Township
