Rochester-based General Sports and Entertainment invested $15 million to build Jimmy John’s Field adjacent to M-59 in downtown Utica. The 4,000-seat stadium hosts three independent minor league teams that are part of the United Shore Professional Baseball League. 

As the first independent professional ballpark in the metropolitan Detroit area, Jimmy John’s Field is the perfect place to enjoy family entertainment. 

Jimmy John’s Field has a total capacity of 4,500 fans per game, with approximately 2,000 box seats between first and third base; seven Founder’s Level Suites; five Premium Dugout Suites; 12 Private Patio Cabana Suites; 18 On-field Diamond Tables; three summer picnic, group and birthday areas; and a grass berm seating area. The ballpark also features a state-of-the-art scoreboard, concert-quality sound system and high-end VIP Club.








Tomorrow marks opening day for United Shore Professional Baseball League season
United Shore Professional Baseball League (USPBL), metro Detroit’s first independent professional baseball league, will open its second season at 7:05 p.m. tomorrow, Thursday, May 11, at Jimmy John’s Field in downtown Utica. The Birmingham Bloomfield Beavers will face the hometown favorite, and reigning champion, Utica Unicorns. Games will be played every Thursday through Sunday until Sept. 10, 2017.
