City of Eastpointe
With roots dating back to the 1830s, Eastpointe has embraced its rich history while staying progressive in ways that benefit its residents. The city boasts a flourishing community garden, children’s flower garden, terrific parks including a skatepark and new dog park, the Michigan Military Technical & Historical Society Museum, and an abundance of unique and diverse restaurants, bakeries and retail establishments.
Popular Eastpointe festivities include the Cruisin’ Gratiot classic car cruise, Memorial Day Parade and Music in the Plaza summer concert series. The city also provides a fine public library, quality water system, efficient police and fire services and shares excellent recreation services with neighboring Roseville.
Dependable infrastructure connects businesses and residents where they need to be. The city features exceptionally convenient access to M-3 (Gratiot Avenue), M-102 (8 Mile Road) and to I-94 at 9 Mile and 10 Mile roads. The “Gateway to Macomb County,” Eastpointe is just a short drive to downtown Detroit and the world-class attractions there.
